A Note From Florence: Peru

It’s been two months already since I have been back from Peru…
Between Christmas, getting ready for the trade shows and finishing the Suzette book, there hasn’t been a minute to rest until now..but here they are, the photos from my last trip…
Lots of work, a little culture, fantastic food and catching up with the artisans…

We developed interesting knitting effects. We gave some kitties an extra life.
We printed new fabrics for our Petit Home collection, a grass and a dandelion pattern for children to lay on… sweet…
We perfected new rattles. It only took us ten trials and errors but we did it and they look great..Thank you, Emilia, for your infinite patience and talent that never ceases to amaze me.
I am very excited about our new elephant and giraffe rattles. The inspiration came from wooden toys and a 70’s pair of socks…You never know what will happen when two ideas collide…
We even created, a sweet calm dream ring, an alpaca in the desert in natural colors with beautiful details….

A week is always too short… there is always more I’d like to make, but there is only so much two little hands can make at a time and that’s a good thing…
All these new designs should be in stores and on our website in the middle of March. Keep an eye out for them!
